Dansk Mjød produces mead that let the ingredients speak for themselves. From the pure and natural honey to the selected herbs and spices which create new and exciting flavors. Serve slightly chilled in a wine glass as an aperitif, or over ice with fruits. At room temperature in a port wine glass, it is excellent as dessert wine; for a winter warmer, heat the liquid without boiling and serve in a mug.
Dansk Mjod Klapøjster MjødKlapøjster Mjød is just like our other mead based on honey and water, but with inspiration from a Danish tradition, we have mixed this mead with snaps. This makes Klapøjster Mjød stronger than the traditional mead and get an aftertaste of snaps, but still retains mead sweetness and rich characteristics.
Dansk Mjod Viking BlodIn order to establish this mead we have combined the traditional brew with various spices and dried hibiscus . In addition to the color adds this mead aromatic and floral aftertaste, like a good madeira. Honey added hops, hibiscus, water and spices - 19% alc.
Dansk Mjod Old Danish Braggot 750mlOld Danish Braggot is based on an 18th century recipe and is brewed according to old Danish traditions by Dansk Mjod A/S in collaboration with Orbaek Bryggeri. Old Danish Beer is brewed with Vienna and Munich malts, select hops and ginger, and the good water from Orbaek. It is blended with GI Dansk Mjod. Old Danish Braggot is a BLEND of a fully brewed/fermented & matured strong ale with a fully brewed/fermented/matured mead.
Dansk Mjod Ribe Mjod MeadRibe Mjød is brewed to celebrate Scandinavia's oldest town Ribe with their 1300 year anniversary. The recipe is made in collaboration with Ribe Viking Centre, and apple juice has been added to the mead to highlight a sense of fruit and give mead slightly more acid in addition to the sweetness from the honey.
