Jefferson's Ocean: Aged At Sea "Store Pick" Single Barrel BourbonThis bourbon started out as an experiment with just three bourbon barrels on Trey's friend, Chris Fischer of OCEARCH's ship, in a curious effort to discover what would happen if bourbon was left to weather the extreme elements: temperature fluctuations, salt air and the gentle rocking of the ship. The result was a thick, dark bourbon that showcases complex flavors reminiscent of other spirits; the almost black color and caramel flavors resemble a dark rum as the sugars within the barrels caramelized; the briny, savory taste from the barrels breathing the sea air is reminiscent of Islay Scotch; and at its core, it's a true bourbon. Due to a massive demand from consumers, Trey has now commercialized this experiment and sent hundreds of barrels around the world. Each voyage of Jefferson's Ocean typically crosses the equator four times, visits five continents and over 30 ports on an average sailing.
Stranahan's "Store Pick" Colorado WhiskeyFull-bodied as the fire that bore it, this whiskey glowed amber from the start. It's not often you can bottle up the Rockies, or cup your hands in a mountain stream. That's why Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey does it for you. Stranahan's is the first and only micro distillery in Colorado and the Rocky Mountains as well as one of the first in the country. You'll never find another recipe like ours. Typically when a distiller bottles his whiskey, several hundred or even several thousand barrels are combined for a staunchly uniform taste. And the way we see it, we want you to be able to trust what's in the bottle, without sacrificing character. So we make three barrels of whiskey each week, which is about five minutes of production for some of the mass producing distilleries. As members of The Private Reserve Barrel Club, Bourbon Street Wine and Spirits selected two of our choicest barrels, and this is their first selection, Barrel 0662. We are sure you will enjoy it!
Jim Beam "Store Pick" Single Barrel BourbonOur master distillers carefully select each barrel by hand-less than one percent are chosen for Jim Beam Single Barrel-ensuring the highest quality and craft. No two barrels are the same, and each is individually bottled, labeled and hand-numbered so that its heritage is unquestionable. Every glass is full-bodied and smooth with attributes of oak, vanilla and caramel. Sip it neat or savor it on the rocks. After all, it's some of the very best bourbon our family has ever produced.
Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit "Store Pick" Single Barrel BourbonKentucky Spirit is a 101 proof (50.5% alcohol), single-barrel bourbon, with each barrel personally chosen by Master Distiller. Known for being fuller bodied, with rich vanilla flavors and a hint of sweetness, it's the perfect bourbon to enjoy neat. A complex layering of almonds, honey, blackberries, and leather gives way to a long, dark and lingering finish.
Kentucky Peerless Distilling Store Pick Single Barrel Straight Rye WhiskeyWe are proud to offer New Jersey's first Single Barrel bottling from Peerless! Bottled on 4/25/18 at 106.9 proof The nose starts with a deep eart and oak character. Florals and cedar join to create a complex, thick nose. The taste starts with a bold showing of sweet oak, rye spice, chocolate, and cinnamon. The second sip starts even spicier, but is now complimented by subtle notes similar to cherry/orange bitters. The finish carries on with the sweet and spicy oak. This balanced earthy appeal creates an excellent and enduring finish. This barrel is a perfect representation of the earthy wedge of the flavor wheel! -- Caleb Kilburn, Head Distiller, Peerless Distilling Co.
Nikka Pure Malt Taketsuru WhiskyMalt whisky is distilled exclusively from barley malt, and is considered to be the forefather of all other types of whisky. In general, it is divided into single malt whisky (several malt whiskies from a single distillery vatted together) and pure malt whisky (malt whisky from several distilleries vatted together).
Nikka Coffey Malt Japanese WhiskyThe originality of this 100% malt expression lies in its unique distillation method. Malted barley is distilled in a “Coffey still”, a traditional continuous still which is normally used to produce grain whisky. Discover this whisky’s extraordinary texture, which Nikka has specially developed for whisky aficionados.
Nikka Miyagikyo Single Malt WhiskyThis is a single malt from the Miyagikyo distillery, Nikka's second distillery built in 1969. The founder Masataka Taketsuru chose this site in the mountains of Sendai to contrast with his first distillery, Yoichi, located in the coastal area. Using less peaty malt and distilled in a pot still heated by indirect steam, Miyagikyo single malt has an elegant fruitiness and a distinctive aroma with a strong Sherry cask influence.
Nikka Yoichi Single Malt Whisky NVThis is a single malt from the Yoichi distillery, Nikka's first distillery built in 1934. The founder Masataka Taketsuru chose Yoichi in Hokkaido because of the similar environmental conditions to Scotland, where he learned whisky making. Yoichi single malt has pleasant peaty notes and smokiness originating from the traditional direct coal-fired distillation as well as a briny hint delivered by the sea breeze during the aging process.
