Lurgashall Tower of London Mead

Light , very bright copper. Cognac and Armagnac, intense floral honey notes mingle with notes of wood, smokiness, and spiciness. Whisky notes on palate supported by the fairly dry mead base. Honey sweetness catches up, though, in the finish mixed with a myriad of aky, spirited flavors. more

Lurgashall Reserve Mead

Light gold, bright, still. Full, soft, slightly more intense than English Mead, smokiness is evident. Rich honey, apricot, and orange flavors are balanced with woody sharpness from the barrels. The whiskey flavors become dominant in a long spicy-dry finish. more
